What we collect
Why we use it
The website uses data for practical reasons: responding to enquiries, understanding business needs, managing follow-up, improving the site and keeping it secure.
When you contact Break.Beat through the website, use the Lead Leakage Scorecard or subscribe to articles, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including your first name, last name, email address, phone number, company, enquiry type, scorecard result, article interests and message. We may also collect basic source, page, referral or campaign information so we can understand where enquiries and subscriptions come from and improve the website and follow-up process.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, understand whether and how we can help, manage follow-up, send article updates where you have asked for them and maintain appropriate business records. Where relevant, we may also review publicly available professional or business information, such as LinkedIn profiles or company websites, to better understand your organisation and the context of your enquiry.
We do not sell your personal information. We may use trusted service providers, including website, CRM, email, analytics or automation platforms, to help us manage enquiries and operate the website.
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and GoHighLevel / LeadConnector tracking are only loaded if you accept analytics cookies. The site does not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or personalised advertising tags.
If advertising or additional tracking tools are added later, this policy and the cookie banner should be updated before those tools go live.

Where data is processed
The site is hosted and delivered using Cloudflare. If analytics cookies are accepted, website analytics and attribution data may be processed using Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and GoHighLevel / LeadConnector.
We use GoHighLevel / HighLevel to capture website enquiry form submissions, scorecard submissions and article subscription requests, manage contact records and support follow-up. If you submit the contact form, share a scorecard result or subscribe to articles, the information you provide may be stored in HighLevel so we can respond to your enquiry, manage your subscription where relevant and keep a practical record.
This may include your first name, last name, email address, phone number if provided, organisation, enquiry type, scorecard result, article interests, message, consent record, page/source information and related attribution data.
Google Analytics may process data on servers in different locations. Google states that EU-based device data is first collected through EU-based domains and servers before being forwarded to Analytics servers for processing.
Google Analytics customers are data controllers for their Analytics data, and Google acts as a processor for Google Analytics customer data.
Retention
Contact enquiries and scorecard submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship and keep appropriate business records. Article subscription records are kept while the subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so opt-out and consent records can be managed. Form details may be stored in HighLevel so Nick Moir / Break.Beat can respond, manage subscriptions and maintain a practical record.
Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings in the Google Analytics property. For a simple site like this, a short retention period is usually enough. If you choose a different setting in Google Analytics, update this policy so it remains accurate.
Cookie preference data stays in your browser until you clear it or the consent version changes.
Your choices
You can reject analytics cookies when the banner appears, or reopen the settings using the button on this page.
You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser. If you do that, the site may ask for your choice again.
If you subscribe to article updates, you can unsubscribe or manage your email preferences using the link included in those emails.
Depending on your location and the data involved, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to the use of your personal data. To make a privacy request, email hello@whatsallthatnoise.co.uk.
